Vietnam visa can be obtained in two ways
1. In the Vietnamese embassy or consulate office in your country or another country
2. Visa upon arrival in Vietnam
For the Visa Upon Arrival, you need to obtain an official letter of approval before you arrive (your agent will do that for you) that you present at the Visa Upon Arrival counter when you land at the airport. There is a service charge of over US$ 7 anywhere charged by the agents for the Letter of Approval. To obtain the Letter of Approval you need to send the agent the following details.
1. Your full name as it appears on your passport
2. Present nationality
3. Date of birth
5. Passport number
6. Passport date of issue
7. Passport expiry date
8. Proposed date of arrival
9. Flight reference
10. Arrival time
11. Airport of arrival
12. Purpose of visit
However the VOA process at the airport can be slow. So, please decide which option to follow.
The cost for the visa:
Single Entry 30 or 90 days – US$ 45
Multi-entry less than 30 days – US$ 65
Multi-entry 30 or 80 days – US$ 95
Children are also charged the same cost as for the adults.
