On this biking expedition we will experience the highlights of this vast land. This adventurous cycling trip in Tibet starts from Lhasa and gives you time to get acclimatized on the world’s highest city at 3,600 meters altitude, with ample time to immerse around Lhasa, including the stunning Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple and the busy markets at Bharkor.

From Lhasa we strike out for our main objective, crossing six major passes all above 4,500 meters and 5000 meters, on the main Lhasa to Kathmandu route.
While biking on the highest plateau in the world and the desert like landscapes, the roads seem as if they are connected to the horizon.
Initially, you arrive in Kathmandu and explore its numerous attractions for (2) two days and from here you will fly to Lhasa and spend (3) days for the necessary acclimatization, enjoying the numerous Tibetan cultures and discover many attractions.
Trails navigating between Lhasa and Kathmandu include 4-days round trip, off road to Rongbuk, the valley beneath the North face of Mount Everest and the ultimate Everest Base Camp at 5200meters.
The excursion overland back to Kathmandu crosses many passes which encompasses spectacular towns with monasteries of Gyantse, Shigatse and Shegar till you reach the Tibetan Frontier at Thang La.

Eventually, the longest descent in the world commences with an astonishing 4600 meters to Nepal which will be a lifetime experience.
The Tibet mountain bike experience will bring you in close contact with three religions – Buddhism, Lamaism and Hinduism. The Tibetan culture, the country and people make this journey a great adventure.
