Overview

Buddhist Pilgrimage Tours

As Buddha was born in Nepal, Buddhism is a very popular religion in Nepal, north India, Tibet, and Bhutan. Hinduism and Buddhism exist together in Nepal maintaining good harmony. Religion is not just a set of beliefs and accompanying rituals handed down from generation to generation rather it is a complex intermingling of traditions, festivals, faiths, and doctrines that have permeated every stratum of Nepalese Society in such a way as to become the very heartbeat of the nation.

Our Buddhist pilgrimage tours let you eyewitness the religious tolerance and harmony found among religions in Nepal which is a very unique example to the world.

This Buddhist pilgrimage tours of 7 days only include highlighted sites in Nepal like Namobuddha, Boudhanath, and the birthplace of Buddha Lumbini. You will have possibilities of extending it to Sarnath – where Buddha gave his first teaching, to Bodhgaya where Buddha was enlightened and Kushinagar where Buddha breathed the last on this world. You can fly in or out of Delhi also.

We can also combine the tour with Yoga, meditation, Ayurveda treatment or even the Spa.

We have just returned from a private tour of Nepal organised by Earthbound Expeditions. We chose Earthbound based on the many great reviews from tripadvisor and were not disappointed. From the start Earthbound were very efficient - responding to emails on the same day and sending quotes in a timely manner. Most of the accomodation organised by Earthbound was fantastic. Drivers and guides were punctual and knowledgable. I would have no hesitation recommending Earthbound to anyone travelling to Nepal.

a good trip

I compared quotes from a few agencies and decided to go with Earthbound. Rajan is very responsive. The local guides are also very helpful and good-spirited. I had a good time no question. The price is competative and the arrangement thoughtful. Rajan, keep it up and good luck.
