DAY 1: Arrival Bangkok

Arrive in Bangkok. Free time. We suggest shopping, and sampling the local food (maybe drink an Asian craft beer).

DAY 2: Bangkok – Flight to Luang Prabang, Laos – Afternoon easy

Tour of the Grand Palace in the morning. Flight to Luang Prabang in the afternoon. Reception and check in at your hotel. Free time to explore this quaint city. We suggest shopping at the night market and dinner in the village center or along the river.

DAY 3: Morning city tour – Afternoon flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia

Early rise to watch the Monks collecting alms in the streets. Morning tour of the temples and palace, lunch locally, afternoon flight to Siem Reap. Reception and check in to your hotel in Siem Reap. Free time. We recommend shopping at the night market, and dinner on one of the Pub Streets.

DAY 4: Siem Reap – Morning sightseeing – Afternoon easy

Morning tour of Angkor Wat temple complex. Afternoon can extend touring of Angkor Wat, or free time to explore Siem Reap. We recommend adding an evening massage or spa treatment after a long day of sight seeing.

DAY 5: Morning flight to Saigon, Vietnam – Afternoon - easy

Morning flight to Saigon. Reception and check in to your hotel. Afternoon free time. We recommend shopping, sampling the local food, and there is a night market as well.

DAY 6: Saigon – Day trip to Mekong Delta & a look around Saigon’s major landmarks

Morning trip to the Mekong Delta. Afternoon tour of major landmarks. We recommend sampling the local fruits, honey and candy while in the Mekong Delta.

DAY 7: Saigon – Flight to Hoi An – Afternoon walk of the old town

Morning flight to Denang, and drive to Hoi An. Afternoon walking tour of historic Hoi An.

DAY 8: Hoi An – exploration

Walking tour of historic Hoi An. We recommend sampling the local coffee with seasonal fruit at a local cafe along the river.

DAY 9: Hoi An – Drive to Hue

Morning drive to Hue stopping at sites along the way. Reception and check in to your hotel. Evening free time to explore Hue on your own.

DAY 10: Hue morning city tour – Afternoon flight to Hanoi

Morning tour of major landmarks of Hue. Afternoon drive to Denang and flight to Hanoi.

DAY 11: Hanoi morning City tour – Afternoon easy

Early morning walk around city center. Morning tour of major landmarks around Hanoi. Free time for shopping or to explore the city on your own. We recommend coffee at a local coffee shop (you might try Chon coffee).

DAY 12: Hanoi – day trip to Halong Bay

Morning drive to Halong Bay. Boat trip with lunch around Halong Bay, and exploration of limestone caves. Evening return to Hanoi.

DAY 13: Hanoi – Evening flight to Yangon, Myanmar

Morning extend your tour of landmarks of Hanoi or free time for shopping and exploration on your own. Evening flight to Yangon, Myanmar. Reception and check in to your hotel.

DAY 14: yangon ½ day city tour

Morning tour of Shwedagon Pagoda and selected sites around Yangon. Evening free time. DAY 17: Mandalay – Flight to Bagan

DAY 18: Bagan tour

Weather permitting, early morning rise to view sunrise over Bagan. All day tour of temples, pagodas, and stupas of Bagan, with a stop at the lacquer factory.

DAY 19: Bagan – Fly to Heho – Inle Lake

Morning flight to Heho, and drive to Nyaungshwe, boat ride to hotel on Inle Lake with stops along the way to see sites. Reception and check in to your hotel.

DAY 20: Boat trip Inle Lake

All day tour of floating farms and villages on Inle Lake. Opportunities for shopping and sampling the local food.

DAY 21: Heho – Flight back to Yangon to catch the flight to Bangkok.
