You will be informed about the briefing time on your arrival by our representative. -Evening Meditation

DAY 2: Kathmandu - Yoga class and drive to Pokhara

Early morning yoga class We take breakfast after yoga class and we check out the hotel to go to Pokhara. A 7 hours drive by tourist bus takes us to the amazingly beautiful city of Pokhara 200 km west of Kathmandu. The drive is very scenic which goes through the winding and stretching road along side the famous rafting river of Trishuli and later on Marsyangdi. The passing through some beautiful small Nepali towns will give you some glimpses of countryside of Nepal. -Evening meditation

DAY 3: Pokhara 900 m - Tikhedhunga 1527 m -

Early morning yoga class We take breakfast after yoga class and get ready to drive from Pokhara to Nayapul which is about 1.5 hours drive and eventually trek to Tikhedhunga on a nice dirt road alongside beautiful river stream. The beginning of the trek gives you glimpses of the Himalayan peaks but rest of the day we will enjoy the beauty of green mountain surroundings and local villages. We will spend the night at an comfortable Guest House (called the tea house) at 1527 meters.

DAY 4: Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani

After a mouth watering mountain breakfast at the tea house we start the trek of the day. Probably, the most difficult day of the trek given that the trail goes only higher in elevation. The first part of the trek is a steep upward walk for about 2 Hrs and then a gradual upward walk. The walk on the stone paved steps is a daring adventure early in the morning. The whole trail leads you through villages and forest to Ghorepani where your efforts will be rewarded with magnificent close up views of the Himalaya (given the weather is clear). We will stay the night at a Guest House at 2810 meters.

DAY 5: Ghorepani - Poon Hill 3210 m - Tadapani 2700 m

Early morning hike to Poon hill, the highlight of the trip, about 1.5 Hrs, to see the spectacular sunrise and the views of 10 different peaks. We will trek back to Ghorepani for the breakfast. After enjoying the second mountain breakfast, we will trek to Tadapani, another great place to take in close up views of the Himalaya. It is a pleasant walk through a lush green forest. Eventually we will stay the night at a guest house at 2700 meters.

DAY 6: Tadapani 2700 m trek to Jhinu

We are craving for yet another 6 hours walk today. Today’s walk takes us through beautiful mountain civilization and some forested areas. We will also admire the meditative sound of the flowing river that we come across the trail. When we reach today’s destination, Jhinu, we take a short relaxing break and then get ready to go to take a refreshing natural hot spring bath.

DAY 7: Jhinu - Pokhara

The last day of our trek in the mountain is also no less interesting than other days. After 4 hours of a beautiful scenic walk, we take a Jeep ride to Nayapul and another ride to Pokhara. Free time. Stay in Pokhara. Evening Meditation class

DAY 8: Pokhara Exploration Day

Early morning yoga class. Today is the day to explore Pokhara. We go for boating on the lake and visit a temple in the middle of the lake. We have free time to enjoy the beauty of Pokhara. We can go for relaxing massage, spa treatment. We can go for adventure activities like Paragliding, ultralight flight, zip flyer etc in an extra cost. Stay in Pokhara. -Evening Meditation class

DAY 9: Pokhara – Kathmandu

Early morning yoga class We are driving back to Kathmandu today after our breakfast. It takes us about 7 hours to reach Kathmandu. We can fly back with an extra cost. Later in the evening, we go for farewell Nepali dinner with cultural show in Kathmandu and can have discussion about the trip experience. -Evening Meditation class

Amazing Experience
Earthbound (RAJAN) you are an amazing tour guide. We had extremely professional guides for the trip. all very experienced with extensive knowledge of the region. We booked the trip a week before leaving and they set everything up in a couple of hours - rafting safari 3 flights orphanage, drivers, porters, guides. yoga retreat-- absolutely unbelievable. The best thing about it was that you didn't feel like you were on a tour. it was like Rajan was your private concierge you weren't stuck on some public bus with a bunch of other tourists..AMAZING AMAZING TIME

Life-changing Napal Experience
I celebrated my 65th birthday with 4 friends on this amazing trek with yoga. We were very impressed with the professionalism and responsiveness of Mr. Rajan Simkhada and Mr. Tarek Lughod. All of our questions and concerns were answered promptly and completely. I'm sure that Rajan and Tarek do not ever sleep. Their hard work and dedication to their customers is very evident. The trekking experience couldn't have been better. Our guide, Resham, and porter/supporters cared for us as they would their mothers. The trek was challenging, physically, and emotionally, and we wouldn't trade the experience. It was life-changing!! Thank you to Earthbound Expeditions for an wonderful experience!

Life changing
The group was wonderful ( I think we had the best group). Our guides and "carriers" were excellent, or better than excellent, if that is possible!. Bharat Gajurel, one of the guides was amazing, and compassionate. I am a 66-year old that did this trip with my sister. Bharat was so supportive and when I told him how much of a difference he made, he said sweetly, no problem, "it's my job". I hire staff and I often hear "it's NOT my job" I would hire anyone like him. Anyone like him is also Shree "C" . Another amazing, kind and extremely competent individual. The whole trip was well organized and "complete", not an easy task with so many with different capablities, interests and ages. I can't say enough about the whole thing. Excellent, amazingly wonderful, professional, safe and on and on and on It wasn't just Bharat and Shree"C", it was all the guides and the amazing men that carrier our stuff. Never a complaint, always positive, Again I wish I had all their names. Please tell them "thank you"

Wonderful Nepal trek
I just came back from a Ghorepani Trek with Yoga. Earthbound Expeditions I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to trek in Nepal. The guides were amazing they looked after everyone, making sure we looked after ourselves, we had enough to eat and drink, kept us motivated during our walk. The country side was breathtaking, photos just do not do it justice, the whole trip was a great experience and adventure.

Brilliant holiday that I'll remember for a long, long time
My friend and I joined the Earthbound Expeditions yoga and trekking tour on 23 November 2013, and could not have had a better time. The itinerary was fantastic, challenging enough for a novice like me - my legs definitely felt it! - but managing to take in many different facets of Nepali life. We saw the sun come up over the Himalayas from Poon Hill, witnessed many Nepalis going about their daily life and really getting an insight into how hard that really is, and seeing forests, rivers and waterfalls, as well as wild monkeys. I loved every minute of it. All the Earthbound Expeditions staff we encountered were fabulous. Our guide, Apar, was particularly good..... helpful, informative, quick witted and entertaining.... The porters were excellent.... Always cheerful and smiling, often singing, and happy to help with anything. Our group included a couple in their 70s - truly inspirational in itself - but when they did struggle on some parts, Apar and the porters were always right on hand, making sure they were ok. We were treated to dancing from the porters some evenings, which really was a highlight - the joy they exude is infectious and soon we were all on our feet. The yoga sessions we had as part of the trip were just what was needed in preparing us for the trek, and sorting out our aching muscles after. I would happily have done more - and the opportunity to do some on the trek itself would have been welcome, although I realise this would have been a logistical challenge to organise. If I were to pick a lowlight (not an easy task), it would have to be the cultural show they provide on the last evening. After several days experiencing real Nepali life on the trek, this was less than interesting, with average food, and little to commend it. As an aside to the organizers, this may have some merit on the first night of the trip, before we've had the opportunity to sample so much fabulous food, and warm hospitality on the trek. After the trek, it felt entirely manufactured. Our group still had a great evening as we took in some of the Kathmandu nightlife after the show. My advice would be if you are considering taking this awesome trip..... skip the show, and head straight for the nightlife! All in all, an exceptional holiday that will be remembered for a long, long time. Thanks Earthbound Expeditions...... hopefully we will trek together again one day!

Wonderful Nepal Yoga trek and retreat!
What an amazing time in Nepal with Earthbound Expeditions Ltd. Absolutely a trip of a lifetime. Our stay at Thamel Eco Lodge was comfortable and the setting is a beautiful hideaway in the busy area of Thamel - a real treat to have a wonderful space of tranquility away from the bustle of the streets outside. Our time with Earthbound Expeditions was brilliant. The team is highly professional, show a lot of care for clients and look after you like family members. Badri is a ray of light and fun! The team is just an absolute pleasure to be with and this trip was made even more special by having the company of fun and caring individuals. I can't wait to go back and would always use their services for any future adventure trips around the world! Guides Sarki and Narayan - absolutely amazing guys - taking care of the group's needs and ensuring that we all were safe and enjoying the amazing beauty that Nepal has to offer. On one day of sickness that I had, they made sure that I was well hydrated, had. something to eat and was able to be back on my feet promptly for the next day's trek. If you ever want to trek Nepal - this is the group to go with!
