Our 12-day ultra Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek is an extra ordinaray journey that combines adventure with comfort. By using helicopters for your travels into Lukla and back from Gorekhshep to Kathmandu, we're eliminating the hassle of regular flight cancellations that many trekkers have to face.
The extra ordinary Everest journey begins in the ancient city of Kathmandu, where you'll spend two nights in 5 star hotels, acclimating and exploring its remarkable art and culture. From there you'll be flying to Lukla via helicopter where your Luxury Everest trek begins. Throughout the journey, you'll reside in top-tier luxury resorts - the best ones available along the Everest trek trail.
Group sizes are a minimum of two and a maximum of twelve to ensure personalized attention and an intimate walking experience in the Himalaya.

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you'll be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Later in the evening, a briefing about the trip will be conducted.
Post-breakfast, we'll embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. This includes UNESCO heritage sites like Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Patan Durbar Square, where you'll experience a blend of history, culture, and art.
Early morning, we'll take a helicopter ride to Lukla, followed by a trek to the mountain town of Phakding. The helicopter journey offers views of Himalayan peaks and sets the tone for the trek that lies ahead.
The trail from Phakding to Namche Bazaar is mostly up, with a few Nepali flat sections. The trek route goes through Hillary suspension bridge, offers glimpses of Himalayan peaks including Everest, enjoy the hike sharing smile with Local Sherpa people and Yaks.
This day is reserved for acclimatization. An optional hike to the Everest view point is available, followed by leisure time to explore Namche Bazaar.
The trek to Tyangboche includes flat and downhill trails followed by a steep uphill walk. In Tyangboche, an ancient monastery worth a visit awaits you. Can do some mediation and prayers. Om Mane Padme Hum.
The trek continues from Tyangboche to Dingboche, allowing you to further immerse yourself in the Himalayan environment. A gentle climb with awe-inspiring views .
We will take a rest day at Dingboche to acclimatize to the altitude. Optional short hikes are available with great close up view of one of the most beautiful mountain Amadablam.
The trek resumes from Dingboche to Lobuche, where additional scenic mountain views can be enjoyed.
A long trek day that takes you from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep. Time is allocated for exploration and photography at the base camp before returning to Gorakshep for the night.
The day starts early with a hike to Kala Pathar for a sunrise view, followed by a helicopter ride back to Kathmandu from either Lobuche or Pheriche. A cultural dinner will be held in the evening to celebrate the successful trip.
On the last day of the Everest trip, you will be transferred to the airport as per your flight schedule, marking the end of your trip.
The Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek presents a more luxurious accommodation. The luxury lodges provide private rooms complete with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable bedding, and high-quality dining experiences. They also cater to all standard meals throughout the trek, encompassing breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Here are a few things to know before you plan for your luxury trek to Everest Base Camp.
During spring (March to May), the green hills and the vibrant wildflowers and rhododendrons add to the beauty of the region. The clear sky and the warm temperature make up for a pleasant adventure.
Similarly, autumn (mid-September to November) offers clear and unhindered views of the mountains, making it the most popular season for the trek. If you trek during October, you will have the unique opportunity to witness the important local festival of Mani Rimdu, celebrated at the monasteries of Tengboche, Chiwong, and Thame.
You'll need the Everest National Park Entry Permit, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit, and TIMS Card. (need to confirm)
Your luggage, other than your personal belongings (required during the trek), will be carried by the porters. Since a porter will be carrying luggage of two people at a time, please ensure that your luggage does not exceed 10 Kg per person. You can have an additional 5 kg of carry-on luggage. You have the option to either rent or buy your clothes & gears in Kathmandu.

It’s important to obtain comprehensive travel insurance. The policy should cover all activities and altitudes up to 5,550 meters. Despite safety precautions, risks like Acute Mountain Sickness and physical injuries are inherent to high-altitude trekking. Therefore, your policy should cover costs related to potential injuries, emergencies, helicopter evacuation, and hospitalization. Also, check for any mandatory vaccination requirements in your policy.
All ground transportation in a comfortable private luxury vehicle. You’ll be enjoying the view of the mountains on your flight via helicopter. The trek will be along the rocky trails, at a comfortable pace.
The luxury EBC is a relatively easy trek, as compared to other treks in the Everest region. A reasonable level of fitness is required for the trek. You can prepare for the trek with cardio exercises, strength training, and hiking. However, if you have any underlying health conditions, you need to inform prior.
The Luxury EBC Trail has luxury resorts & lodges that provide the best amenities, ensuring the most comfort for your trek.
Electricity and charging ports are usually available in the lodges. However, they may be limited, so it’s always advisable to carry a portable solar charger and power bank.
While internet connection is available in the region, they may not be the most reliable. Wifi are available in some lodges and they can be either free or you might need to pay a small amount for hotspot connectivity. Mobile data is more reliable as the network, barring some places, is more stable.
You can purchase Ncell or NTC sim cards in Kathmandu from local shops. In case of emergency, our guides will be carrying satellite phones as well.
Each trekker is offered a private room equipped with comfortable bedding to ensure a restful stay. En-suite bathrooms are standard in these lodges, offering privacy and convenience. The facilities also include toilets, which are well-maintained and clean. These lodges are designed to provide a comfortable and luxurious experience, a step above the basic accommodations traditionally found on such treks.
The lodges usually provide hot showers, at an additional cost. This is because most of the hot showers, especially at higher regions, are only possible with gas (that’s brought from Lukla), making it expensive for the lodges.

Everest Base Camp : Trip of a lifetime!! Trekking to Everest Base Camp was an extraordinary journey made even more memorable by our exceptional guides, Shree and Vivek of Earthbound Expeditions and of course the head of the company Rajan- who is caring friendly and funny. The expertise, care, and knowledge of our Earthbound leaders was indispensable as they guided our team of seven women through the challenging terrain. Everest Base Camp Trek, This was our third trip with Earthbound Expeditions. The first one was in 2010 and then 2020 (both with groups of 10) and now April 2024 we did Everest Base Camp with just 4 people. Rajan, the owner of the company, provides excellent and personalized service both before and during your trip. Every question is answered and detailed itineraries are made. Traveling in Nepal requires flexibility due to weather, flight delays, etc and Rajan expertly manages through this. Our guide on this trip, Gopal, was excellent and genuinely cared about us having a great experience. The other guides we had were also excellent. We cannot recommend Earthbound Expeditions highly enough. Don’t hesitate to book your Nepal trip with them.

Just do it ..., We had a wonderful time on our trip to Everest Base Camp that Earthbound organized. The places we stayed at were cozy and comfortable. Our guides, Shree and Vivek, did a great job of taking care of our needs for cold weather and food and so on with kindness and good attitudes. Rajan was very helpful with useful information and arranging the front end and solving problems when we faced unexpected changes. The EBC trek itself was special with amazing scenery, living in harmony with various animals. I think the best part of this trip was connecting with people. Not only our amazing girls who were positive and supportive throughout the trips. We also met many strangers who became friends who we danced together with while we were trekking. We returned with not just wonderful memories but also a new appreciation for the beauty of nature and the power of teamwork. Everest Base Camp Trek with Heli return, My husband and I just returned from Nepal where we did the 12-day Everest Base Camp Heli Trek with Earthbound Expeditions. Everything was perfect! Rajan was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive to all of our inquiries when booking the trip and extremely welcoming and accommodating once we arrived in Kathmandu. Our guide Namaraj and our porter Abas were absolutely fantastic. Namaraj was an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced guide who clearly loves his country. Unforgettable Everest Base Camp Trek We just completed a 12-day trip to Everest Base Camp with Earthbound Expeditions. We have been on a number of trekking vacations, but this was by far the most amazing trip. The Himalayan mountain range was stunning and humbling. The Nepalese people, particularly those in the Khumbu region, were incredibly kind and hospitable. And of course, the food was delicious. We look forward to returning to Nepal again in the future and will definitely be using Earthbound Expeditions. Special thanks to the following individuals who made this a memorable, safe and joyful experience: (1) Rajan: Earthbound’s incredibly responsive and thoughtful leader. He patiently answered all of our questions about the trip prior to our arrival and accommodated many of our requests without question. He even picked us up at the airport and met with us again the day we came back from Base Camp. (2) Kumar: our Kathmandu city guide who shared his knowledge of Nepal’s rich history and culture by taking us to some World Heritage sites in Kathmandu. (3) Raju: our wonderful Kathmandu driver who ferried us safely back and forth to various destinations in Kathmandu and joined us our final night for a Nepalese cultural show. (4) Tiger: our wonderful porter who was never without a smile. He was kind and funny and always made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable on our trek. Shree was incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. He answered our many questions about food safety, high altitude sickness and hot showers with good humor and patience. He made sure we were hiking at a good pace to allow for altitude adjustment and shared his love of dal bhat with us. Unforgettable EBC trek Nepal, My fiancé and I completed the EBC trek with Earthbound Expeditions using Helicopter also and have nothing but extraordinary things to say about the whole experience! For months leading up to our departure, Rajan answered all of our many inquiries and made sure we were all set for a life changing journey. Once in Kathmandu, we met our wonderful guide Gopal! We truly felt in the best of hands with Gopal who so generously shared the amazing Nepali culture with us throughout our trek. Everest Base Camp Nepal Heli Trek 12 Days... My life dream was to climb Mountain Everest after climbing Kilimanjaro mountain in Africa. The dream I had for many years became true when I landed at Kathmandu Airport and meet beautiful people from Earthbound Expeditions. The trek itself was very wonderful and organized professionally, great Sherpas, great mountain scenery and great value. It was an everlasting memory provided by this great team for more than two weeks in the great Everest mountain. I recommend this team of Rajan for their great help during my trip to Everest and valuable information they provided to us which contributed a lot to the success of our trek to Everest.
