Biking around Kathmandu - cycling around ancient towns, down hill with valley vista views
For our Kathmandu day biking trip, Heading north from Bhaktapur, turn left from the road leading to Nagarkot to reach Changu Narayan, a 7th century temple overlooking Kathmandu valley.
The four-hour ride is an easy one, with panoramic views of the mountains, fields and the Manohara River makes Kathmandu biking trip interesting. There is also a small village on the eastern side of the temple to explore while biking down hill.
You can also combine bike and hike to Nagarkot from Changu Narayan takes five hours and is more adventurous if you want to bike and hike together around Kathmandu valley rim.
