Kathmandu Valley Day Biking Trip
Mountain biking trip is exciting in around Kathmandu Nepal due to its steep and exciting topography. Biking trip from Chobar to Champa Devi is a well-liked route for biking in Kathmandu area. Chobhar hill, situated 6 kilometers south of Kathmandu, can be reached on a bike in 15 minutes from the dirt road leading off from the Ring Road at Dhobighat. The Chobhar Gorge and the Jal Vinayak temple are situated here in Kathamndu. After another 15 minutes’ biking from here at Khare Bazaar, follow the dirt road leading to the right. On reaching Bansbari, hike for two hours through forest area to reach Champa Devi. This is an ideal place from where you can view the whole valley and the great mountain range. The return route can be different reaching anywhere between Pikhel and Pharping to reach Kathmandu, it is rough, a bit of a hard day ride up and downhill.
