DAY 3: Kathmandu - Pokhara 900 m

Early morning breakfast and we check out the hotel to go to Pokhara. An about 6 hours drive by a private vehicle takes us to the amazingly beautiful city of Pokhara 200 km west of Kathmandu. The passing through some beautiful small Nepali towns will give you some glimpses of countryside of Nepal.

DAY 4: Pokhara Exploration Day

We wake up early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot, a beautiful hill in Pokhara famous for Sunrise, for 35 minutes. LOOK NO FURTHER THAN EARTHBOUND EXPEDITIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you want a competitively priced, well organized customized trip to Nepal (and/or its surrounding areas), look no further than Earthbound Expeditions. Earthbound were incredibly helpful in assisting us in planning our trip to Nepal, discussing all the trekking options and combining this with visiting various towns in the area. Unlike many other of their competitors, one advantage is having a local representative here in London, Badri who was always on hand to answer many of our questions. You will also benefit from having Rajan, another one of Earthbound’s Managers/owners being there in Nepal to greet you during your stay and is always on hand to assist with any issue or query you may have. Rest assured that all the reviews you read here are genuine and accurately reflect the confidence all of Earthbound’s previous customers have in the company and their first-class service to organizing customized trips to Nepal and beyond. I don’t think our trip would have been the same with anyone else. Thank you Earthbound!!!! Vanessa x

Great local company
This is a locally owned and operated company that will do everything they can to provide you with an excellent Nepal tour. Not only is the price very fair, but it is clear that Earthbound is putting money back into the local economy and contributes to charitable local projects as well. All connections, guides & support staff were excellent and did all they could to make our adventure safe, enjoyable and interesting. They provided us with a trip of a lifetime.

Everything I could have hoped for and more This experience was remarkable from the time we started planning until we returned home. Although Rajan always has several trips going at the same time, he makes you feel you are his only concern. The guide and porters really made us feel safe and pampered and added to the fun and overall great adventure. Our guide took the time to educate us on the culture, religions, and history of Nepal which everyone enjoyed and appreciated. I would highly recommend this trip.

Excellent Nepal Adventure
Earthbound organized a well-rounded tour; with sightseeing, rafting, and trekking. Everyone involved was friendly, helpful, fair and fun. Rajan is good about knowing which areas are safe and tourist-friendly after the earthquake. Traveling with Earthbound is a great way to help the economy and keep these wonderful people employed. And it will be an amazing trip too!

Amazing time in Nepal
When I contacted Rajan to arrange our activities I was so pleased to find a very organized and responsive individual who truly is interested in arranging an interesting itinerary. We had an amazing time discovering Nepal and earthbound expeditions made it possible. Their guides are knowledgable about the culture and customs. They go beyond the call of duty to ensure that we were safe and happy. Needless to say we are already thinking about our next trip with them.

Amazing experience from start to finish
We had really great experience with Earthbound Expeditions from the moment we met them at the Adventure Show in London. This was our first trekking trip and we had a lot of questions and Badri from Earthbound Expeditions was the only one who seemed like he genuinely wants to reassure us and help us have the best experience, and he advised us to do the Annapurna Circuit with the highest point of 5416m - now that is a scary number. Badri was always very quick replying to emails and answering any questions we had - and we had a lot! I could not stress enough how important it is to have a good guide who would become your best friend for the period of the trek. We were very fortunate with our guide Amrit! And I cannot thank him enough for all his help and emotional support that he gave us during the trek. He managed our expectations excellently and every day we were ready for the new challenge and understood what to expect during the day and as the day progressed. During moments like that you realize how much trust you put in the person that you've never met before, as he is the only one who can access the situation and advise in the moments when you feel horrible (5416m high in the mountains! A lot of things can go wrong...) Thank you very much Amrit and Badri for the great experince!

Wonderful first visit to Nepal
From the moment we arrived at our hotel in Kathmandu, I felt taken care of and put at ease. Rajan made sure everything was in order and was very accommodating to anything we might want or need. If you are looking at guides to book, look no further. They booked everything from busses to tea houses so we need nothing but to enjoy it. I will recommend this group to anyone traveling to Nepal. Also, go to Chitwan National Park!!! Shout out to Ram for being the best guide for the whole trip!

Hand’s Down The Best Tour Group in Nepal
From the moment we scheduled our trip from New York to Kathmandu, Earthbound Expeditions was completely accessible to answer our questions and provide a thorough itinerary and list of expectations. They made the transition from the airport to Kathmandu seamless in spite of our flight delay and every moment thereafter was treated with complete professionalism and personalization. The hotels were all super clean and comfortable and the guesthouses along the trek had stunning views of the mountains and delicious food served at each. We can’t say enough good things about our guide, Rajan Prasad Neupane, who was organized, patient, an expert guide in the mountains, extremely knowledgeable in both culture and terrain, and brings a great amount of wit along with his good nature. Be prepared for an outstanding experience if he is your guide! Dandebhat mero sati! Bharat Bhatta was our porter and we could not have completed the trip without him. This company is extremely organized and will plan as much as you’d like to ensure your experience is fully customized and memorable. We will be back to do the Everest Base Camp and will be using Earthbound again!
